KOBO CONTENT SERIES
SCALING REAL STORIES
ONE SHOOT. 500+ ASSETS. GLOBAL SCALE.
Insight
Kobo needed content that felt human, premium, and socially native across global markets and languages. The opportunity was to move beyond marketing the device and instead illuminate the lives, rituals, and personal stories it made possible.
Tension
Producing authentic, high quality content for multiple markets traditionally means more shoots, more production costs, and more complexity. Kobo needed a way to scale its content output globally without losing the human stories at the heart of the brand.
Idea
We built an AI enabled content production system that turned one four day shoot into 500+ assets, creating a full year of global content. AI powered workflows supported concept development, storyboarding, post production, retouching, and voice localization, while human quality control remained central at every stage. The system enabled simultaneous market launches, delivered localized content across seven languages, and generated 20x the content output of a traditional production model at comparable spend. Social engagement increased by 11%+ across markets.
Beyond production efficiencies, the work helped build Kobo’s trust in our creative and strategic capabilities, expanding the relationship into an Agency of Record partnership for content and social.
